A GOP congress and a RINO President! Yeah, That's the Ticket! NOT!

Well, Rick Santorum is taking quite a bit of heat for saying that Romney would be no better a president than Obama. Then I keep hearing over and over again that ANYBODY on the Republican side would be better than Obama. REALLY? Sorry, I'm just not convinced. It is all a matter of trust and I absolutely do not trust Mitt Romney. After all he has taken just about every position on every issue possible. At least you can trust Barack Obama to be a radical socialist who wants to fundamentally change America. That's pretty sad to say that Obama is more trustworthy than Romney, but hell, it's true!

If Romney is elected, do we really know what we are going to get on January 21, 2013? No we don't. I heard one of the pundits on TV this morning hoping that the GOP would take control of both the House and the Senate. He went on to say that if that happened, Romney would be forced to govern as a conservative. REALLY? Seems like I painfully remember when the Republican congress and George W. Bush ushered in the the new Mediscare prescription drug entitlement. I also remember during the Bush presidency when the Republican controlled congress and the president tried their best to give amnesty to illegal invaders. It was only due to  the efforts of thousands of angry callers to their congressmen and senators that finally the dirty dogs in the legislature went slithering away, hiding under rocks in fear of losing their jobs.

So why should I believe that having another Republican controlled congress and a RINO president is going to produce different results? If GWB had acted like a conservative, he would have said that we couldn't afford another entitlement and that would have been the end of it. The amnesty issue would never have seen the light of day. It really is that simple.

So who do I trust? Romney? No way! Santorum? Well, not really, but I do have at least a reasonable expectation of what kind of president he would be. The only 2 people I trust completely are God and Sweet Wifey and they are not on the ballot.

Of course the GOP establishment and the Fox News pundits are just about to pee all over themselves. They are declaring Romney the winner. Finally, at long last they are going to shove a useless RINO down our throats once again. One of them said this morning that conservatives are going to rally behind Romney. Well, I know at least one conservative that won't. I wish I could believe that Romney would be better than Obama, but I just can't. Looks like it is going to be the first time since 1972 that I have sat out a presidential election and I find that sad, very sad indeed.
Sadly I find that Mitt Romney meets NONE of the trust criteria above.
