Neil Young, Crazy Horse, Foo Fighters and Black Keys sing in GPP free concert

The Global Poverty Project (GPP) has announced the Global Festival 2012, which will take place on the Great Lawn of New York’s Central Park. It is a multifaceted event with a free ticketed concert. In the concert will perform Neil Young With Crazy Horse, Foo Fighters, The Black Keys and more.

This free ticketed concert will happen on September 29th. In addition to the aforementioned acts, the concert will also feature Band Of Horses and K’Naan. The timing of this concert is especially poignant as the Global Festival, which celebrates achievements made toward ridding the world of extreme poverty, will coincide with the UN General Assembly In New York.
