It's that time of year again, boys and girls, and the Grouch has made up his mind with some NFL football picks. I did a pretty good jobs last year, in fact I was better than the so called experts on ESPN. So here we go for the games beginning this Saredee:
Cincinnati @ Houston
Houston looked like the team to beat at the beginning of the season, but sadly they have lost 3 of their last 4 games. Houston's numbers certainly look better but at this point I think momentum has a lot to do with success. I think the key will be Arian Foster. If he has a good day, running the ball, Houston will win. It's going to be a squeaker I think and I'm going to give the win to Cincinnati by 3 points.
Minnesota @ Green Bay
Although both teams have been winning down the stretch I don't think Green Bay has looked that sharp. I think they have some potential problems on defense and they have a problematic running game. The Vikings on the other hand have won 4 in a row and with Adrian Peterson completing a 2097 rushing yard season, I think the Vikings will be able to pound the Packers into submission. It will be close until about the middle of the third quarter until the Green Bay defense gets tired. I predict Minnesota by 10 points.
Indianapolis @ Baltimore
Neither team has great defense. If Baltimore could field its defense of years past it would be no contest but that won't be the case Sundee. Baltimore has lost 4 out of the last 5 games while Indy has won the last 4 out of 5. Andrew Luck is on fire and I think he will be the QB to watch along with RG III in the years to come. I'm giving this one to the Colts by 14.
Seattle @ Washington
This is going to be a war. The teams look pretty even number wise with Seattle having an edge in pass defense and Washington an edge in rush defense. I watched the last regular season game between Washington and Dallas. Alfred Morris looked impressively tough carrying the ball. I think having said that, with RG III and home field advantage, I'm calling this one for the Redskins by a point or two. We might see overtime.
So there ya go, sports fans. Agree? Disagree? Send a comment and tell me what you think.
