Technical Architect
Apttus is looking for Technical Architect / Software Engineer to join our team. This individuals will be are responsible for designing/executing implementations of the Apttus product. They will also be providing data and technical direction on Apttus projects independently or in collaboration with Solution Architects and development teams on larger projects.
Key Responsibilities
The Technical Architects are responsible for configuration and customization activities needed to deliver the customer requirements.
Software Engineers will be part of the product development organization and will be responsible to developing new product functionality.
The candidates should be familiar with the technical needs of the project including any integration technologies.
The candidate must be familiar standard SDLC and Agile implementation perspectives and maintain consistency with Client, Apttus, and industry standards and delivery capabilities.

Standard SFDC Configurations
Design Documents
Integration Interface Document
Custom Configuration
Business Rules
Workflow and Approval processes
Qualifications Required:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
3-5 years of progressive experience as a Configuration Engineer/Developer/Administrator within Engineering/Professional Services groups in application development company or within solutions team at Systems Integrators
Complete software development lifecycle perspective
Business Skills and Experience
Have a professional presence and the ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with clients.
Accustomed to working in a team environment and who thrives in this environment.
Passionate about technology and driven to make a difference.
Analysis oriented (system and/or domain).
Technical Skills and Experience
SaaS experience including 3+ years of development on Salesforce platform
Able to setup standard configuration in Salesforce platform including Custom Object, Validation Rules, Workflows, Approval Process, Data Loader
Hands on and in depth knowledge of Force.com technologies like Apex Classes, Triggers, Batch Apex
Experience in developing in Apex is a requirement.
Experience in working with development teams on J2EE or similar technologies can be considered as an alternative if candidate can demonstrate proven ability to pick up new technologies quickly
Broad based platform and technical exposure using configuration tools available in products like Siebel, Peoplesoft, SAP
