During 4thWorld Congress, World Laparoscopy Hospital, Gurgaon is featuring outstanding free hands-on robotic surgery labs in addition to Invited Panels, and Scientific Sessions.

This course will introduce safe robotic surgical practice on high definition four arm da vinci robot to novice robotic surgeons, including general or colorectal surgeons, senior surgical residents, and minimal access or colorectal fellows. Focus will include set-up and challenges unique to working with a da vinci robotic surgical system, and allow participants to translate this knowledge into a hands-on experience. This course will consist of a hands-on animate lab in which participants will receive instruction by experts in various robotic techniques and procedures.
Objectives:
At the conclusion of this robotic training session, participants will be able to:
- Safely plan procedure and set-up the robotic surgical system
- Become familiar with the use of the robotic surgical platform for surgical training, basic surgical skills, such as suturing and tissue manipulation, and recognize the advantages, disadvantages, and limitations of the present robotic surgical system
- Apply this knowledge for use in basic surgical techniques for foregut, bariatric, colorectal, hepatobiliary, solid organ and revisional surgical procedures
