President, Pakistan Arthroplasty Society
The Pakistan Arthroplasty Society has been established with agenda of promoting arthroplasty in Pakistan. In this regard several programs have been planned including
1. National Arthroplasty Fellowship at different centre of excellence.
2. International Arthroplasty Fellowship.
3. International visitation at centre of Excellence.
4. Establishment of National Joint Registry.
5. Conducting Live and Cadaveric surgery course for primary and revision TKA and THA.
6. Affiliation of PAS with regional Arthroplasty Societies.
Only members of PAS who have successfully attended Primary TKA and THA course are eligible to apply for National and International Arthroplasty Fellowship. In continuation of our constant effort to promote arthroplasty across Pakistan, we are conducting following workshops
A. 10th Primary TKA live and cadaveric Surgery Course on Friday 14th June 2013 at Liaquat National Hospital Karachi.
B. 1st Cadaveric Revision TKA course on Saturday 15th June 2013 at Liaquat National Hospital Karachi.
We hope to have an active participation from all major cities of Pakistan.
